Salary: Paid to Scale (andpound;163 andndash; andpound;223 per day, dependent on experience)

We are currently seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Primary Teacherandmdash;whether you''re an Early Career Teacher (ECT) or a more experienced educatorandmdash;for a full-time maternity cover role in a KS2 class, starting September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a welcoming and supportive team, where staff collaboration is highly valued and celebrated.

About the Role:

This KS2 teaching position will see you working closely alongside a very experienced and supportive co-teacher, sharing planning responsibilities and delivering engaging, inclusive lessons to a diverse and lively class. The school fosters a nurturing and respectful environment where both pupils and staff are supported to thrive.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Deliver high-quality teaching aligned with the KS2 curriculum
  • Share planning and preparation with your co-teacher
  • Create an inclusive, engaging, and safe learning environment
  • Use a range of assessment strategies to monitor and boost progress
  • Support pupils of all abilities, including those with SEND
  • Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development opportunities

The Ideal Candidate Will:


  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
  • Be an ECT or experienced KS2 teacher with a passion for collaborative practice
  • Have experience or interest in working in inclusive classrooms
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Be committed to nurturing a love of learning in every child
  • Ideally be a driver, due to the schoolandrsquo;s location and for ease of access
  • Hold a current enhanced DBS on the update service, or be willing to obtain one
