The £61m North East Technology Park (NETPark) will create up to 232,000 square feet of flexible laboratory, office, production and storage space. As Senior Project Surveyor, you''ll work alongside the commercial lead, managing a large supply chain and ensuring excellent commercial outcomes are achieved throughout delivery to completion. What will you be responsible for? As a Senior Project Surveyor, you''ll be working within the commercial team, supporting them in managing cost, risk and value for money across this major project. Your day to day will include: Managing applications for payment from sub-contractors and preparing client applications Negotiating with the supply chain to achieve best value and awarding work packages Monitoring actual expenditure against budgets through Cost Value Reconciliation Reports Ensuring all variations are properly costed and logged in line with contract conditions Mentoring and supporting more junior ..... full job details .....
