Chief Marketing OfficerOur client is looking for a dynamic Chief Marketing Officer to lead the development and execution of their brand, marketing, and data strategy across a portfolio of products and services. This senior role offers the opportunity to shape the direction of marketing, drive growth, and influence strategic decisions at the highest level.Key Responsibilities
Design and deliver a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with organisational objectives.Develop a rolling three-year marketing plan and present recommendations to senior management.Contribute to organisational strategy through participation in executive meetings.Drive subscription, ticket, and visitor growth by collaborating with content, editorial, and events teams.Set, manage, and optimise the annual marketing budget.Lead a multi-disciplinary internal team, ensuring roles and responsibilities are allocated for maximum efficiency.Oversee external agencies providing PR, media, exhibition, and design services.Monitor and evaluate the impact of all marketing initiatives, adjusting approaches as required.Manage websites and social media platforms to maintain brand consistency and engagement.Use data insights to inform strategy, customer communication, and campaign performance.Keep abreast of industry trends and competitor activity, adapting marketing efforts proactively.Identify and pursue new business opportunities in line with growth objectives.Ensure marketing materials reflect the brand’s values, are centrally accessible, and appropriately distributed.Skills and Experience
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Marketing, Advertising, or Communications.Proven experience in B2B publishing and events marketing.Track record of managing teams and reporting to senior management.Experience within the events or publications sector is highly desirable.Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and leadership capabilities.This is an exciting opportunity for a senior marketing professional looking to make a measurable impact in a progressive organisation!Seniority level
