Learning Experience Designer

Overview
Purpose of Role : The Learning Experience Designer plays a key role as part of the Learning Hub team by designing, developing, and producing blended learning experiences for the Learning Hub, ISP’s digital learning platform, that align with the Learning and Innovation team’s strategy.To own a portfolio of work activity that may change at any one given time, ensuring that focus is prioritized on the activity that’s truly needed by people, and working to deliver end products that make a tangible difference.Place of work : Primarily home, with the flexibility to work from both a regional ISP office and home. Travel to ISP regional offices will be on an “as and when” required basis.ISP Principles

Learning experience designOwn the design process from start-to-finish for designated learning experiencesDesign experiences that prioritize learners and learning, using a range of design and learning methodologiesCreate accessible, efficient, effective, and engaging learning experiences that align with the Learning Hub quality standardsSupport learners with any learning experience issuesCollaborate with subject matter experts and contributors (e.g., video editors, graphic designers, colleagues) to design experiencesContribute ideas and help manage the content pipelineContribute to the overall design of the Learning HubEvaluation and improvementEstablish consistent learning experience success criteria and performance metrics with the Learning and Innovation TeamEvaluate learners’ experiences against success criteria and metricsProvide insightful analysis of learning outcomes and recommend improvementsShare best practices in blended learning for students, colleagues and parentsPortfolio and platform managementManage and coordinate own work activities, adapting to changing organisational needsSupport content organization on The Learning Hub LMS and related platforms (e.g., SharePoint, Monday.com, Teams, Evolve, ThirdLight, ShutterStock, Envato)CommunicationCommunicate ongoing and upcoming activity and seek feedback proactivelyPropose, design, and deliver engaging and learning-focused communications to drive engagement with Learning Hub experiencesCollaborate with Learning and Innovation Team and Marketing and Communications to develop communication plans for relevant experiencesDeveloping positive relationshipsBuild positive relationships with the Learning and Innovation Team, ISP colleagues, and external partners to enhance Learning Hub’s reputationWork in ways consistent with ISP’s Principles and aligned with ISP’s missionTreat colleagues, families, and stakeholders with respect and celebrate local and cultural differencesShare examples of best practice among colleaguesFoster voice, choice, and ownership in learning experiencesLearning facilitation, coordination and managementFacilitate and coordinate learning experiences online or offlineSupport colleagues in facilitating and coordinating experiencesLead and facilitate learning in the Learning Hub Communities (e.g., collaboration spaces, discussion forums)Share best practices from Learning Hub CommunitiesQualifications
Required: Fluent in English4+ years of experience using learning design to develop engaging eLearning and blended experiences for adult learnersExperience with eLearning tools and platforms such as Evolve, Storyline, Rise, Canva, MoodleExcellent writing skills and proficiency with digital learning design technologyStrong program or project management experienceExperience building relationships with stakeholders and SMEs in online environmentsValuable but not requiredFluent in SpanishExperience with global and remote teamsUX/UI design experienceExperience in a school or education settingKnowledge of adult learning models (ADDIE, SAM, Design Thinking, Kirkpatrick, Bloom’s)Learning analytics and reporting experienceExperience editing HTML5 and CSSSafeguarding and Diversity Statements
