Evolve is supporting with the recruitment for a leading organisation with an excellent reputation in delivering first-class care for patients in both Primary and Secondary Care throughout the UK. Our client is building a team of Diabetes Specialist Nurses to start ASAP, with the aim of delivering high quality care to patients in Primary Care and improving patient outcomes. As a Diabetes Specialist Nurse, you will be pro-actively identifying sub-optimally controlled patients with Type 2 diabetes, optimising their oral therapy, conducting point of care testing and referring for specialist insulin treatment where necessary, all whilst exercising corporate nursing responsibilities. Specific territories are to be defined based on the successful candidates. These are field based positions which involve travelling to different locations, so a full driving licence and a willingness to travel is a must. These are permanent positions ideally working full time (Standard working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:30pm but this depends on travel to and from the practice). Part time hours may be considered if required (4 days per week). Salary and Package details: Circa £45,000 DOE (Pro-rata for part time).
