Salary: £ 25,722.97 per annum Hours: 40.25 hours per week Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off (Rotational shift pattern) Start/Finish time: 6.00am - 6:00pm Job Type: Full time and permanent contract Here''s What You Can Expect To Be Doing as our Returns Operative: Debrief drivers and inspect returning vehicles for compliance and safety. Report defects, damages, or safety concerns promptly. Communicate effectively with drivers regarding daily routes and operational issues. Assist with loading and unloading vehicles as needed. Manage returns documentation and perform related administrative tasks. Update depot performance statistics and contribute to daily reporting. A Few Things About You: An understanding of transport legislation and logistics operations is desirable. Ability to respond quickly and effectively to operational challenges. Strong communication skills (Verbal and Written). Competent use of Microsoft, particularly Excel. Confident in addressing vehicle-related concerns with drivers in a constructive manner.
