Your new role
Working on projects in Cambridge and also the surrounding area, they are looking for Design Managers to join their Cambridge team. As Design Manager, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality outcomes, improving buildability, and encouraging innovation across their projects. You''ll collaborate closely with industry specialists and in-house technical team to ensure that designs align with project briefs, while maintaining a strong focus on value, compliance, commercial viability, and best practice.
Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage a realistic design programme and information schedule to support design, procurement, and construction activities.
• Champion continuous improvement and innovation throughout the design process.
• Ensure all designs are reviewed and verified for compliance, health and safety, and buildability before construction begins.
• Identify and manage key risks and opportunities at each stage of the design and delivery process.
