You will ensure the integrity of the Trust''s financial ledgers, lead on elements of the month-end and year-end processes, and provide high-quality financial insight and advice to senior stakeholders.Key responsibilities include:Leading on the preparation of statutory accounts and external financial reports.Managing the year-end process and liaising with external auditors.Maintaining robust financial controls and ensuring compliance with NHS and accounting standards.Producing accurate and timely monthly financial statements.Providing technical accounting support and guidance across the finance team.Supporting continuous improvement initiatives within the finance function.About YouYou will be a proactive, qualified accountant (CCAB or equivalent) with strong technical accounting skills and a solid understanding of NHS or public sector finance.
