Assistant Project Engineer Monmouth 30,000 to 35,000 + Bonus + Benefits PermanentWe are working with a specialist wastewater treatment business looking to appoint an Assistant Project Engineer at their Monmouth site.This opportunity would suit an Engineering Apprentice or Junior Engineer with a Mechanical or Electrical background looking to develop their technical and practical skills.Working alongside experienced engineers, you''ll support the design, preparation, installation and commissioning of specialist wastewater treatment equipment.The role combines office-based engineering, hands-on workshop activities and occasional visits to customer sites across the UK.Key Duties and Responsibilities Assist Project Engineers with the planning, preparation, coordination and delivery of wastewater treatment projects. Support the development of engineering drawings, equipment layouts and technical designs using CAD software, including SolidWorks. Work with engineering teams to interpret design sketches, technical drawings and PandIDs. Assist with the preparation of project documentation, equipment specifications, operating procedures and maintenance manuals. Support the installation, assembly and commissioning of specialist equipment at company facilities and customer sites. Maintain accurate equipment records, technical documentation and project information, ensuring equipment is correctly identified and recorded.
