PSR Solutions are working in partnership with a well-established and highly reputable Main Contractor operating across Central London. Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of secured work, they are looking to appoint an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Assistant Quantity Surveyor who is looking to develop their career within a supportive and forward-thinking business delivering high-quality construction projects.

As an Assistant Quantity Surveyor, you will support the Senior Quantity Surveyor/Commercial Manager in the successful delivery of projects from pre-construction through to final account.

Key responsibilities include:

• Assisting with cost planning and budget management

• Procurement of subcontractors and suppliers

• Preparing and issuing subcontract documentation

• Valuations, variations, and interim applications

• Supporting with cost reporting and forecasting

• Assisting with final accounts

• Liaising with site teams, subcontractors, and clients

• Ensuring commercial procedures are adhered to

Projects will typically be within Central London across sectors such as commercial, residential, and mixed-use developments.

• Previous experience working for a Main Contractor (preferred)

• 1-3 years'' experience in a Quantity Surveying role

• Degree qualified or working towards a degree in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management

• Strong numerical and analytical skills

• Good understanding of construction processes and contracts

• Excellent communication and organisational skills

• Ambitious, driven, and eager to progress
