Working on a continental shift pattern (days and nights), you''ll be responsible for maintaining critical electrical infrastructure, carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), responding to reactive breakdowns and ensuring maximum uptime across this high-profile site. The Role As a Shift Engineer, your responsibilities will include: Carrying out planned and reactive electrical maintenance on critical building services. Maintaining UPS systems, generators, switchgear, electrical distribution and associated plant. Diagnosing faults and completing repairs efficiently. Responding to alarms and emergency situations within the data centre. Completing maintenance records using CAFM systems. Acting as the site''s HV Authorised Person (AP). Managing permit-to-work procedures and ensuring safe systems of work. Supervising specialist subcontractors where required. Maintaining plant rooms and ensuring the highest housekeeping standards.
