Mechanical Maintenance Engineer Multi-Skilled Location: Lewisham, South East London Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday staggered shifts covering approximately 6:30am 4:30pm Pay: £25 - £30ph The Opportunity Ace Academics is recruiting an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Engineer / Multi-Skilled Engineer to join the estates and facilities team at a well-established Further Education college in South East London. We are seeking a practical, reliable and technically skilled engineer with a strong mechanical maintenance background and ideally additional electrical knowledge. Working closely with the Site Engineering Manager, you will help maintain the college''s buildings, mechanical systems and facilities, ensuring a safe, efficient and fully operational learning environment. This is a varied, hands-on position suited to an engineer who enjoys problem-solving and is happy to undertake a broad range of maintenance duties. Key Responsibilities Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across college buildings and facilities. Diagnose and repair mechanical faults involving pumps, motors, heating, ventilation and associated building services equipment. Undertake general building maintenance and multi-trade repairs as required. Assist with basic electrical maintenance and fault identification within your qualifications and competence.
