We are currently recruiting for a Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality Manager to join a well-established recycling and waste management business based in Leicester. This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of the HSEQ function at a busy MRF site, working closely with the Operational Management Team to ensure high standards of health, safety, environmental compliance and quality are maintained.Location: LeicesterSalary: 59,000Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am - 5pmDuties:Take overall responsibility for HSEQ across the site, acting as the primary point of contact for health, safety, environmental and quality matters.Monitor site operations to ensure compliance with environmental permits, company procedures and relevant legislation.Carry out regular site inspections, identify areas for improvement and provide clear reports and recommendations.Investigate and report on accidents, incidents and near misses, ensuring appropriate corrective actions are implemented.Manage and maintain ISO systems, documentation and associated processes.Prepare for and support internal and external audits, ensuring actions are followed through to completion.Lead HSEQ meetings and committees, monitoring actions and driving continuous improvement.Coordinate HSEQ training, maintain training matrices and deliver internal health and safety training where required.Work closely with operational teams to promote a positive health and safety culture and challenge unsafe behaviours.Liaise with ..... full job details .....
