An automotive component manufacturer based in Witham are looking for someone who has experience of setting and operating CNC machines who would like to set and operate a robot on their night shift.The hourly rate is up to 20.35ph, working Sunday: 20:30 - 7:00 Monday - Thursday: 23:00 - 7:00.Robot Cell Setter / Operator duties:-Setting and operating of the robot cellResponsible for setting and operating 3-axis and 5-axis milling machinesWork with a variaty of metals including aluminium, carbon fibre, and epoxy tool boardsWorking closely with the rest of the machine shop to deliver on timeDeburring and manually finishing partsResponsible for the cutting and preparing of materialsThe right person for the role with have a good understanding of the following:-Haas and fanuc controlsHave a strong engineering backgroundKeen eye on detailBe flexible with the work you are doing across the machine shopThis is a temporary to permanent role, working for a company with a full order book until the early 2030''s, so it''s an exciting time to join them.If you have good experience of setting and operating CNC machines, please apply!If you have any questions about the job or the company, please call Prime Appointments and ask for Simon.
