What We Are Looking For: We are looking for an experienced and dedicated engineer to perform reactive and preventative maintenance to ensure machinery operates at peak efficiency without compromising quality. Collaborate closely with site Technicians and Line Leaders to ensure all equipment remains fully operational and is maintained in line with company standards. Working hours 6:00pm to 06:00am on a 4 on, 4 off shift pattern The position: Perform planned preventative maintenance and breakdowns across the site to minimise downtime. Recommend solutions aligned with the engineering strategy to reduce downtime and identify areas for improvement in machine performance. Complete maintenance, servicing and general duties, escalating issues to the Engineering Lead/Supervisor where required. Work closely with the Engineering Supervisors to minimise equipment and tool purchases while ensuring all necessary tasks are effectively completed. Work closely with the Engineering Supervisors, Engineering Manager,Grader Manager, Line Leaders, machinery suppliers and manufacturers to ensure maximum efficiency is achieved. Ensure effective and timely resolution of breakdowns and issues, with minimal impact on production. Supervise external contractors working onsite, ensuring policies and procedures are communicated and always followed.
