Job Overview We are seeking an experienced and passionate Head Chef to lead our kitchen team in delivering exceptional culinary experiences. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food production and culinary arts, with a flair for creativity and a commitment to food safety standards. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all kitchen operations, ensuring high-quality food preparation, and managing a team of cooks in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Our client has a bonus scheme in place where the Head chef will receive the below if targets are hit: 2% of that month''s bottom line when the net profit is under 150,000 4% of that month''s bottom line when the net profit goes over 150,000 Responsibilities Lead and manage the kitchen team, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient operations. Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to maintain high standards of quality and presentation. Develop and implement innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends while catering to customer preferences. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean, organised kitchen environment. Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage food costs to optimise profitability. Train and mentor kitchen staff in culinary techniques, food safety practices, and hospitality standards. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
