Our client within the Heywood area which is a small innovative business specializing in the manufacture of high quality medical and laboratory microbilogy products is looking to recruit a Production Manager to join their team You will be the key driver of all their manufacturing operations,ensuring smooth production of all medical and laboratory microbiology products (such as culture media,diagnostic kits and sterile consumables) They are looking for a proactive leader with passion for optimizing production processes in a fast - paced environment If you thrive in a hands on role where you can make a real impact then this position is your opportunity to contribute to life saving products in a collaborative setting Key Responsibilities: Production Organization and Management - Overseeing all operations, planning,scheduling and execution of production runs for medical and laboratory microbiology products.Develop and track useful Key Performance Indicators(KPIs)such as production yield,on-time delivery rates,waste reduction and quality defect metrics.Use data to drive continuous improvement,reporting insights to senior management Adhere to all regulatory requirements for medical devices and microbiology products.Conduct risk assessment,audits and implement corrective actions as needed Promote a safe working environment,conductiing regular safety training and ensuring compliance with COSHH and other relevant regulations.
