We are currently looking to recruit a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer for my client based in Leicester (LE4 1BF).Working Hours:Permanent, day-shift position (Mon-Fri, 6am-2pm) salary: 35,000 per annum.The company is a well-established engineering manufacturer, and they''re looking for a time-served mechanical engineer who''s confident maintaining and repairing a wide range of machinery - including CNC machines, welding and robot plants, grinders, and hardening equipment.You''ll be hands-on with:Provide mechanical maintenance to a wide range of CNC and specialist machineryMechanical repairs to gearboxes, bearings, shafts, drive chains, pumps and tanksManage and resolve reactive breakdown repairs, reducing machine downtimes to a minimumAs required carry out major refurbishment of plant, equipment and machineryPLC fault finding and interrogationInvestigate reported faults, identify the cause and decide the necessary course of action to rectify the faultPlanned preventative maintenanceComply with legal requirements and to work within Company health and safety guidelinesCandidate will be expected to work across all company sites in LeicesterEssential Experience: HNC or equivalent in Mechanical EngineeringMinimum 3 years experience in an Engineering environment which includes experience of fault-finding and repairing CNC multi-axis machinesConversant with Fanuc and Siemens controlsConversant with present and emerging technology, up to date knowledge of equipment and techniquesPlea
