This temporary position is an excellent opportunity for an individual with a strong background in property repairs and maintenance management. The role involves leading a team and ensuring the delivery of high-quality repairs and maintenance services.Day-to-day of the role:Oversee and be accountable for the delivery of a high-quality repairs and maintenance service.Provide leadership and direction within the repairs and maintenance team, including the development and implementation of service strategies.Manage staff performance and all areas of performance and budgets within the service area.Work closely with the Assistant Director of Operations to implement strategies and maintain high levels of performance across the Direct Labour Organisation (DLO), contractors, and partners.Lead on strategic and financial planning, development, commissioning, and delivery of services within the Housing Repairs and Maintenance Service.Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation and regulations within day-to-day operations.Manage and lead the financial planning and management of all delegated revenue and capital budgets within the service.Robust contract management of the DLO, contractors, and suppliers.Required
