A prestigious London-based international bank is looking for an Infrastructure Engineer to join their team in their offices in Canary Wharf. You will be part of a dynamic and friendly team of infrastructure and security engineers, supporting their IT server environment. This is a temporary position with an immediate start for an expected duration of 6 months, with the potential of being extended for another 6 months. It is an excellent opportunity for candidates with proven infrastructure operations experience within the financial services industry to work for a multinational, professional and renowned bank. Your responsibilities will include, among others:Administering and supporting the server environments.Security hardening.Patch and Vulnerability remediation.Monitoring, Incidents and Operations.Supporting virtualized environments and platforms. About you: In order to succeed, the right applicant will have prior infrastructure operations experience within the finance and banking industry, excellent organisational skills, high attention to detail, and familiarity with enterprise technologies.
