OverviewCare Home Deputy Manager role at Barchester Healthcare, based at Tewkesbury Fields care home. You will support the delivery of quality care, work closely with the General Manager, and take on leadership duties in their absence. You will help with ensuring care standards, motivating your team, and leading a multidisciplinary team to help residents enjoy the best possible quality of life. You will lead by example and monitor standards through regular audits, supervised clinical practice, and regulatory compliance checks. You will set high standards and develop and deliver strategies to achieve goals.

Responsibilities

Support the delivery of quality care and lead the team in the General Manager''s absence.

Inspire a multidisciplinary team to ensure residents enjoy the best possible quality of life.

Lead by example and monitor standards through regular audits, supervised clinical practice, and regulatory compliance checks.

Develop and deliver strategies to achieve care goals.

Qualifications

Experience in helping residents with different health needs.

Successful track record of managing safeguarding investigations and clinical risk assessments.

HR experience.

Strong knowledge of sales and marketing.

Understanding of budget management.
