Health and Safety ManagerSouthampton£45,000.00 £55,000.00 per annumAre you a NEBOSH qualified health and safety professional with hands-on experience in a warehouse or industrial setting Are you organised, practical and confident taking ownership of safety, from risk assessments and safe systems of work to incident investigations and statutory complianceWe are looking for an experienced Health and Safety Manager to join our team at DIL''s Southampton site.You will be our competent person for health and safety, owning the HandS agenda for our busy warehouse. You will have direct access to the Managing Director and the support to build strong systems and a safety culture where everyone goes home safe.Your key responsibilities will be to:Act as our competent person for health and safety, leading and maintaining our HandS management system, policy and site risk register.Develop and embed risk assessments and safe systems of work for MHE, manual handling, racking, work at height and other high-risk activities.Lead incident reporting and investigations, including RIDDOR, making sure lessons are learned and corrective actions closed.Keep training, induction and HandS records organised and up to date and ensure first aid and fire marshal cover on every shift.Manage statutory inspections and compliance, including fire safety, LOLER, PUWER, racking, water safety and COSHH.Control contractors on site, including RAMS, permits to work and CDM duties on projects.The ideal candidate will ..... full job details .....
