Overview

Radis Community Care are looking for a Team Leader to join our team based in Nichols Court, Linton. Nichols Court has 40 one and two bedroom apartments designed to help local residents retain independence and control over their lives. This is a full-time position, 37.5 hours per week, 50/50 care and admin, including a mixture of care shifts (7am – 2pm and 2pm – 9pm) and office hours (9am – 5pm). At this present time, we are unable to consider sponsorship for this role.Responsibilities

As a Team Leader you will provide support to our extra care complex, offering specialised support to individuals. You will act as the first point of contact for the package, provide supervision/meetings and support to the care workers. You will schedule/allocate work to care workers, ensuring personal care and all care tasks are client specific. You will also support with medication, personal care tasks and offer support within the community. You will be required to participate in the on-call rota and provide cover for care and Radis housing related support duties when emergency cover is required.Qualifications and Skills

Previous experience as a Team Leader is advantageous but not essential.Ideally, but not essential, NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care working towards Level 3.Good written and verbal communication skills.Willingness to learn in line with clients'' needs and expectations.Enhanced DBS check required.A driving licence with access to a vehicle will be advantageous as some travel may be required for the role.Benefits
