We are seeking a skilled MIG Welder fabricator to a-manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fabricating and welding metal components with precision and efficiency, ensuring high-quality standards are met. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong background in welding and fabrication, looking to contribute to a dynamic and safety-conscious environment.

Duties

• Operate MIG welding equipment to join metal parts according to technical specifications and safety guidelines
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical instructions
• Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to cut, shape, and assemble sheet metal components
• Perform fabrication tasks including cutting, grinding, and finishing metal surfaces
• Conduct quality checks on welds and finished products to ensure compliance with standards
• Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations
• Assist in the assembly of fabricated parts into final products or structures
• Troubleshoot minor issues with welding equipment and perform basic maintenance as required

Skills

• Proven experience in MIG welding;-
• Strong knowledge of structural-welding techniques and standards
• Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment
• Mechanical knowledge relevant to assembly processes and material handling
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics accurately
• Good understanding of safety procedures related to welding and manufacturing environments
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.

• -14 - -14.50 pay rate incluisve of shit allowance-
