Project and Programme Governance Officer

Good Growth Good Growth is responsible for delivering and implementing the Mayor''s environment, transport and economic strategies and for the effective implementation of the London Plan. The Directorate is also responsible for regeneration (where the programme is not housing led), enterprise, growth, capital projects and design work. About the team The Environment and Energy unit is responsible for the policies and programmes related to the Mayor''s ambitions around the natural environment, climate adaptation and his net zero 2030 target. The Programme Management Coordination team is a cross-cutting team at the heart of the Unit, providing leadership on governance, finance, business coordination, communications, stakeholder engagement, and monitoring and evaluation activities for the Unit. Working closely with the Principal Evaluation Officer and Head of Programme Management Coordination, you will establish a hub of programme and project management expertise for the Unit, providing guidance and implementation support to delivery teams, aligned with GLA''s Portfolio Management Framework. About the role This role will play a central part in embedding strong programme and project management practices across the Environment and Energy Unit.
