This is an excellent opportunity for someone interested in procurement, purchasing or supply chain to develop their skills within a supportive team.Working closely with the Procurement Manager, you will support the purchasing function by placing orders, monitoring stock levels, liaising with suppliers and maintaining accurate purchasing records. This role would suit an organised, proactive individual with strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn. Key Responsibilities Assist with placing purchase orders for key suppliers and ordering non-stock or special items. Monitor order progress and liaise with suppliers to confirm delivery dates. Help maintain stock levels and ensure goods are ordered accurately and on time. Maintain accurate purchasing records, product information and supplier data. Assist with logging supplier non-conformances and updating procurement systems. Develop knowledge of products, materials, suppliers and purchasing processes.
