A leading fire safety specialist client of mine is seeking experienced, Qualified Fire Door Inspectors. Sites across London A driving license is desirable but not essential. £40k £50k (DOE) In this role, you will be responsible for the following: • Ensure that all fire door inspection records are accurately maintained.• Conduct inspections of fire doors across various commercial and residential buildings.• Collaborate with building management, contractors, and fire safety teams to address any issues identified during inspections.• Stay current with fire door standards and regulations through ongoing CPD to ensure all inspections comply with the latest safety requirements.• Provide advice and recommendations on fire door maintenance and upgrades to clients or building owners. What we expect:• Proven experience as a fire door inspector or in a related field.• Experience with the BM-Trada/FIRAS fire door maintenance schemes.• In-depth knowledge of fire safety regulations, building codes, and fire door standards.• Ability to work independently and manage multiple inspections efficiently.• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.• Ability to inspect doors, including accessing various heights, using tools for inspection, and lifting or adjusting heavy door components when necessary.• Knowledge of other safety systems (e.g., fire alarms, emergency lighting) and their integration with fire doors
