Our client is seeking an experienced MandE Technical Manager to lead mechanical and electrical design delivery across major building and rail construction projects. This permanent role will provide the opportunity to shape technical strategy, challenge assumptions and identify risks before they affect project delivery, with a strong focus on pre-construction and design management.Key Responsibilities:Lead the MEP design process from pre-construction through to project deliveryReview and challenge designs to ensure they are practical, coordinated and compliantIdentify technical risks at an early stage and develop effective solutionsDevelop technical strategies, design deliverables plans and project requirementsCoordinate consultants, designers, specialist contractors and supply chain partnersLead design reviews and ensure agreed actions are completedDrive value engineering initiatives without compromising quality, safety or complianceManage consultant scopes, fees and performance while building effective stakeholder relationshipsEnsure compliance with the Building Safety Act, CDM Regulations and relevant industry standardsJob Requirements:Proven experience leading MEP design and technical delivery on complex construction projectsStrong knowledge of mechanical and electrical building servicesSignificant experience in pre-construction, design coordination and technical risk managementExcellent communication, collaboration and stakeholder management skillsCommercial awareness, ..... full job details .....
