Your Role As a Residential Children s Support Worker, you ll play a key role in supporting and empowering young people who have experienced trauma. You ll contribute to every aspect of their care and development in a professional, compassionate, and consistent way. Key Responsibilities: Support the emotional, physical, and educational development of young people. Contribute to and implement individual care plans and risk assessments. Maintain high standards in residential care as expected by Ofsted. Build positive, trusting relationships with children, families, and professionals. Serve as a consistent, positive role model and mentor. Manage challenging behaviour and support children in crisis with a calm, trauma-informed approach.
