We are looking for a reliable and organised Accounts Assistant to join an established team in Darlington. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the smooth running of the company''s financial processes, assisting with invoice processing, reconciliations, and financial administration. This position offers a great opportunity to gain valuable experience and further develop your accounting skills.Responsibilities: To assist the Assistant Financial Controller in producing timely and accurate management informationEnsure the daily banking is checked and balanced against the daily takingsTo report and record any variances and discrepancies to the department concernedUpdate weekly banking sheets and post them on a weekly basisAssist with daily input of Purchase InvoicesAssisting with VAT returns Assist with Balance Sheet nominal reconciliationsTo have an awareness of the Sales Ledger/Purchase Ledger System and assist with the operation when requiredRequirements/Experience: Be suitably qualified - AAT L3 or equivalent in experience Be a strong communicator and team playerHave experience with accounting software Be organised and detailedFor more information, please get in touch with Nicola at Si Recruitment.
