We are currently recruiting for an experienced Project Manager to join a leading main contractor on a c. 5m high-security fit-out scheme in Reading.This is a high-profile project requiring a proven construction professional with strong project delivery experience and the ability to operate within a highly controlled, security-sensitive environment.The RoleAs Project Manager, you will take responsibility for the successful delivery of the project from pre-construction through to completion, working closely with the client, design team, consultants, subcontractors and internal commercial and operational teams.Key responsibilities will include:Taking overall responsibility for project delivery, programme, quality and health and safety.Managing and coordinating subcontractors, consultants and site teams.Driving the programme to ensure key milestones and completion dates are achieved.Managing project risks, change and commercial interfaces.Leading project meetings and maintaining strong client relationships.Ensuring works are delivered to the required specification and quality standards.Coordinating design, procurement and construction activities.Maintaining rigorous standards around site security, access and confidentiality.Providing clear reporting on progress, programme, risk and performance.About YouWe are looking for an established Project Manager with a strong track record of delivering 5m+ fit-out or refurbishment projects, ideally within commercial, government, defence, ..... full job details .....
