Social Worker - MASH
Social Worker - Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) Cambridgeshire County Council Cambridgeshire County Council is seeking a skilled MASH Social Worker to be the crucial first point of contact for all safeguarding concerns, working in partnership with key agencies to make swift, informed decisions. Location, Working Pattern and Security Location: Huntingdon (PE29 6NP). The team is co-located at the Police Headquarters. Vetting: A Police vetting and a DBS check are required for this role. Working: Hybrid working (office/home mix). There are no visits to service users; all contact is virtual. Salary and Benefits Salary: 40,735 - 43,516 per annum. Incentives: A Relocation package and Sponsorship swap are available. Key responsibilities include: Screen and triage contacts, rapidly gathering and analysing multi-agency information to assess risk and need. Making robust analytical decisions on cases (including initiating S47 Enquiries). Utilising exceptional written communication skills to produce clear, analytical summaries for management. Essential Requirements Qualified Social Worker with current SWE registration. Expertise in safeguarding children in accordance with statutory legislation.
