Hours: Mon–Thu 08:00–17:00, Fri 08:00–13:00

An established precision engineering company is looking for a Supply Chain Coordinator to join their Purchasing team. This is a great opportunity for someone with manufacturing procurement experience who wants to grow within a fast-paced, technical environment.

What you'll be doing

• Raising and managing Purchase Orders through the ERP system
• Sourcing suppliers, evaluating quotes, and negotiating on price, delivery and quality
• Expediting orders and resolving delivery delays with suppliers
• Managing subcontract and special process requirements
• Maintaining supplier records, KPI trackers and Approved Supplier List
• Resolving invoice queries with Finance and Goods In
• Preparing and evaluating tenders
• Reporting on spend and departmental KPIs

What you'll need

• Previous experience in a supply chain, procurement or purchasing role
• Manufacturing/engineering background preferred
• Strong Excel and ERP/MRP system skills
• CIPS Level 3 essential
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
