Warehouse OperativeLocation: Royston, HertfordshireHours: Monday to FridaySalary: Competitive, dependent on experienceWe are seeking an experienced and organised Warehouse Operative to join a busy manufacturing and production environment in Royston.You will play a key role in managing warehouse operations, stock control, kitting and material flow, ensuring components and materials are delivered to production on time and in full.This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong background in warehouse or stores operations within a manufacturing environment, who has experience managing inventory, working with ERP systems and supporting production requirements in a fast-paced setting.Key Responsibilities as a Warehouse OperativeManage the accurate and timely picking and kitting of materials in line with production schedules.Ensure materials are delivered to production lines on time and in full.Manage stock control, inventory records and warehouse locations.Carry out regular stock checks, cycle counts and inventory reconciliations.Identify and monitor material shortages, working with relevant departments to resolve issues.Oversee the receiving, storage and dispatch of goods.Maintain an organised and efficient warehouse layout.Support inbound and outbound logistics activities.Follow Lean warehouse practices, including Kanban, Just-in-Time (JIT) and 5S.Identify opportunities to improve warehouse processes and material flow.Work closely with production, planning, procurement ..... full job details .....
