This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant to take ownership of financial reporting, statutory compliance and month-end processes within a well-established business with a wider EMEA and global presence.Offering a broad and varied remit, the role combines hands-on financial accounting, management reporting, audit and process improvement, with opportunities to contribute to systems development and wider business performance.The Role- Take ownership of the month-end close, including management accounts, revenue recognition, balance sheet reporting and cash flow.- Produce detailed variance analysis against budget and prior year, providing clear commentary and insight into financial performance.- Manage balance sheet reconciliations, identifying potential risks and opportunities.- Coordinate audit requirements and support the preparation of tax returns and related reconciliations.- Monitor KPIs and prepare financial reports to support business decision-making.- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, statutory requirements and internal controls.- Work collaboratively with other departments to improve financial performance and reporting processes.- Support budgeting, quarterly forecasting and ad hoc financial analysis.- Contribute to the ..... full job details .....
