Associate Structural EngineerCARDIFFRef MR50Salary up to 75kWe are currently seeking an Associate Structural Engineer to join a successful, well established Civil and Structural Design practice in Cardiff. The primary work stream is commercial and social houses, care homes, renewable energy and wind farms, industrial developments and remediation. Our client has projects throughout the UK, but most work is in South Wales and the West of England.As a project leader, the role will require the candidate to be empathetic and supportive of staff, and they will be confident and engaging with our valued clients. The candidate will also undertake technical design and reporting work themselves so they will be required to have good written and verbal communication skills. They will be highly knowledgeable in the design and detailing of all major structural materials and an awareness or knowledge of:TEKLA - TSD and Portal FrameSciaTeddsRevit StructureAutoCADThe successful candidate is likely to have at least ten years post graduate experience and will already be used to taking design responsibility for projects.
