IT Support Engineer
We are currently working with a leading manufacturing group who are seeking an experienced and proactive IT Support Engineer to join their busy in-house IT team. This is a varied, hands-on role supporting users across multiple sites and international locations, offering exposure to a wide range of technologies and IT functions.The Role You will provide 1st and 2nd line support, ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of IT services within a fast-paced production environment. Acting as a key point of contact for all levels of staff, you will manage IT requests, monitor systems, and support both physical and virtual infrastructure.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver 1st/2nd line hardware and application support (on-site and remote) Build, upgrade and maintain PCs, hardware and operating systems Install and support software applications Administer user accounts and deliver new starter inductions Monitor servers, networks, backups and system health Support Microsoft 365 (Exchange, Outlook, Teams, Office) Manage IT asset procurement, setup, and lifecycle (including disposal) Maintain accurate documentation and records RequirementsMinimum 3 years'' experience in a 1st/2nd line IT support role Strong knowledge of Windows domain environments and Office 365 Experience with virtualisation technologies (VMware and/or Hyper-V) Proven troubleshooting skills across hardware, software and networking Highly organised with the ability to prioritise in a fast-paced environment Strong communication skil
