Are you NEBOSH qualified? My client is looking for an experienced, NEBOSH qualified Health and Safety Leader, to join their team on a permanent basis. This role would most suit someone with a strong food manufacturing background, with experience working within high-risk environments with a range of machinery. You will be tasked with driving positive change to how HandS processes are received internally to ensure adherence to all relevant legislation, and practical application a Safety First culture. Duties include: Acting as a hands on leader, assessing current processes and implementing new systems where necessary, collaborating with external parties to ensure policies align with regulations. Risk Management: conducting regular risk assessments, including internal and external audits, implementing preventative measures and ensuring accurate and timely documentation. Resource Management: Oversee the budget and ensure all training programs are in place. Incident investigation and reporting: thorough accident and near miss investigations, accurately reporting and putting in place corrective measures.
