What Are We Looking For? Due to continued growth, WES, part of the RSE Group, is looking for an Electrician to join us on a permanent basis to assist with the successful delivery of projects within the Water industry. This will include carrying out installation and maintenance on a variety of chemical dosing plant including control panels, pumps, containment systems and field instrumentation. Please note there is travel and working away from home required as part of this role with accommodation provided by WES. Some of Your Key Duties Include: Install, gland, terminate cable systems mainly used in the industrial sector to BS 7671 and supplied drawings. Install electrical equipment to BS 7671 and manufacturer s instructions. Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using testing devices to ensure compatibility and safety of system. Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components, using test equipment and hand tools, to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem. Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with codes. Advise management on whether continued operation of equipment could be hazardous. What Do You Need?
