Carrington West are assisting their local authority client based in Essex in the search for a Planning Enforcement Officer to join their Town Planning department on an initial 3-month contract. We are looking for a Planning Enforcement Officer to focus on case investigation of potential breaches of planning control to ensure a high quality built and natural environment can be maintained. You will need to liaise with members of the public, draft reports and notices as required on planning enforcement investigations and you may be required to represent the Council on enforcement related appeals/ court proceedings.
