Collections Strategy Specialist

Location: Thorpe Park, Leeds, Hybrid working.

Join us as a Collections Strategy Specialist! Looking for a role where you can shape real impact? In this position, you''ll design, develop and deploy smart collections strategies that improve customer and commercial outcomes across different customer and account groups.

You''ll use data and insight to understand performance, identify opportunities and continuously improve our approach through well-designed trials and champion-challenger activity. Your strategic thinking will be key, using your experience of collections and customer strategies to challenge existing approaches, spot opportunities and turn insight into action.

You''ll work closely with colleagues across Analytics, Operations and Omni Channel to bring new strategies to life, understand their effectiveness and identify opportunities to simplify journeys, digitise processes and improve efficiency. While analytical tools such as SAS and SQL may support the role, we''re particularly interested in your ability to develop effective strategies, interpret insight and translate it into meaningful change. You''ll also help maintain a strong control environment, ensuring our strategies remain compliant while delivering great customer outcomes.

What we are looking for:

  • Strong experience of developing, deploying and improving collections and/or customer strategies, with a clear understanding of how strategy influences customer and commercial outcomes
  • Experience using data and insight to shape strategic decisions, identify opportunities and design effective trials or champion-challenger approaches
  • Ability to interpret analysis and turn complex information into clear, practical strategies and recommendations
  • Strong customer and commercial awareness, with the confidence to challenge existing approaches and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Proven experience of influencing change and working effectively with senior stakeholders
  • Experience with analytical tools such as SAS or SQL would be beneficial, but deep technical expertise isn''t essential; experience of Lean and Agile principles would also be advantageous

If you''re excited about this role but don''t meet every requirement - don''t worry, still apply. Your unique perspective could be just what we''re looking for.

What you''ll get:

  • A discretionary annual bonus to reward your impact
  • 3% flexible benefits that you can tailor to suit your lifestyle, whether that''s extra cash, more holiday, or added health cover.
  • Hybrid working for the best of both worlds-collaboration and focus.
  • Free onsite parking, saving you time and money.
  • Recharge and refresh opportunities with 28 days of holiday plus public holidays, and the option to buy up to five more-giving you more time for what matters most.
  • Peace of mind with life assurance that supports your loved ones, no matter what.
  • A culture that celebrates you and supports your wellbeing - with recognition awards, access to on-site gym facilities, and a variety of wellbeing initiatives offered throughout the year to help you stay balanced, resilient and feeling your best.
  • Encouragement to be your authentic self at work by joining one of our vibrant employee networks-like Rise (Gender), Proud (LGBTQIA+), Culture, or Spark (Neurodiversity & Disability) - and connect with a community that celebrates and supports you.
