CNC Machinist Wokingham We are looking for experienced CNC machinist (miller) who can programme, set up and operate Vertical Machining Centres (HAAS and XYZ) using CAD / CAM software and the machine control system.Although the role is for CNC milling operations, any prior programming, setting and operational experience Haas machines tool range will be considered advantageous.Responsibilities:- Set up and operate CNC milling machines to perform precision engineering operations- Read and interpret drawings, and specifications to determine machining operations- Select appropriate tools, machines, and materials to complete work orders- Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and adherence to specifications- Inspect finished products for accuracy and quality- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with machines or tools as needed- Maintain a clean and organized work areaSkills:- Proficient in the use of power tools and hand tools- Ability to assemble components accurately and efficiently- Knowledge of tooling and machining techniques- Strong understanding of basic math principles for measurements and calculations- Mechanical knowledge and aptitude for troubleshooting machinery- Familiarity with any CADCAM is preferredPlease note that this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
