Construction Site Manager

Location: Gloucester
Salary: -50,000 - -60,000 + Package (including -5,000 Car Allowance)

An established, family-run regional main contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Construction Site Manager to lead the delivery of a -5 million new-build healthcare facility in Gloucester.

This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of a high-profile project that will have a lasting impact on the local community while working for a business renowned for its quality, integrity and long-term approach to construction.

The Role

Reporting to the Project Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the construction site, ensuring the project is delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing all site operations from start to completion.
• Coordinating subcontractors, suppliers and site personnel.
• Driving health and safety standards and ensuring full compliance.
• Monitoring programme and progress, identifying and resolving issues proactively.
• Maintaining exceptional quality throughout the build.
• Building positive relationships with the client, consultants and wider project team.
• Managing site logistics, materials and labour resources efficiently.
• Producing site reports and attending progress meetings.

About You

We''re looking for someone who combines strong technical knowledge with excellent leadership and communication skills.

You''ll ideally have:

• Proven experience as a Site Manager delivering new-build construction projects.
• Experience managing projects valued between -3m and -10m.
• A background with a main contractor.
• Excellent organisational and planning skills.
• Strong health and safety awareness.
• The ability to motivate teams and maintain high standards on site.
• SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid qualifications (essential).

Healthcare project experience is advantageous but not essential.
