Finance Manager Alfreton, Derbyshire Full Time, Permanent £-Negotiable SF Recruitment are partnering with an SME business in Alfreton, Derbyshire in their search for a Finance Manager to join the business on a full time, permanent basis. The Finance Manager is responsible to provide support, advice, analysis and recommendations to the Management Team and to ensure the business comply and adhere to group accounting policies. The finance manager will support, motivate and develop a small finance team and play a vitally important role for the business. Duties of the Finance Manager - Leads financial analysis and modelling for strategic investments and operational reviews, supporting strategic decision-making, forecasting and achievement of business goals. - Contributes to the strategic direction of the business and recommends practices that support operations and objectives. - Ensures internal controls are appropriate and effective in safeguarding assets. - Provides ongoing financial reporting and ad hoc analysis. - Leads, develops and manages the Finance Team. - Prepares and presents Board packs. - Prepares the annual budget and analyses variances between budget and actual results. - Prepares all financial components of tender documents. - Produces pro forma financial statements for new business and contract renewals. - Develops and recommends alternative business models. - Oversees accounting policies and practices, ensuring compliance and appropriate financial controls. - I
