Extra Care (Housing) Floating Support Worker, Town Close, Stokesley On a Part Time basis (18.5 hours per week) to be worked Flexibly - normally Monday, Tuesday and Friday between 9am - 5pm. Purpose of the Role: This role involves coordinating services within the schemes (Stokesely and Northallerton), engaging in community development to ensure social inclusion for residents. The role focuses on delivering excellent customer-focused services to deliver housing support services to vulnerable older people. Specific Responsibilities and Accountabilities: Promote Extra Care and Sheltered Housing: Advocate for the benefits of extra care and sheltered housing, and participate in needs assessments for new applicants. Maintain Effective Relationships: Foster effective working relationships with housing services, customer services, and other relevant internal and external individuals/agencies. Manage Equipment: Check, test, and remove sensor monitoring and call equipment. Promote Community Involvement: Encourage resident involvement in the local community and promote their rights.Promote Anti-Discriminatory Practice: Ensure respect and value towards all people by challenging discriminatory practices. Welcome New Residents: Assist new residents in settling into the scheme and making friendships.
