Accounts Assistant - Permanent - based in Olney, MK46Job Purpose:We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Assistant for a SME to support their finance team with invoicing, purchase ledger, credit control, and supplier account management. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring timely invoicing and payments, and responding to internal and external queries in a professional manner.Main Duties and Responsibilities:Raise and process chargeable callouts and service-related invoices using internal systemsProduce daily invoices against Works Order Numbers and manage rejected invoices, ensuring timely resubmissionRaise weekly planned maintenance invoices and ensure accurate billingMatch, code, and process purchase invoices against purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and timely postingInvestigate and resolve supplier account queries, liaising with suppliers to ensure payments meet agreed termsPrepare supplier payments, reconcile supplier statements, and maintain accurate purchase ledger recordsSupport credit control by chasing outstanding debts, resolving customer queries, and monitoring aged creditor reportsManage accounts email inbox, process customer purchase orders, maintain records, and complete general administrative dutiesPerson Specification: Strong attention to detail and accuracyGood organisational and time management skillsConfident communicator, both written and verbalAbility to manage multiple tasks ..... full job details .....
