IR35: Outside IR35 (Contract) Our client has a requirement for a Piping Designer, who will be required to work on a contract basis in Manchester, supporting water infrastructure projects. Role Purpose: To provide piping design and 3D modelling support on water industry projects, delivering coordinated, constructible, and maintainable designs using Revit within a multi-disciplinary engineering environment. Job Role Responsibilities: Produce 3D models and General Arrangement drawings using Revit Design and layout: Wet and dry well pumping stations Concrete pump chambers Ductile iron and epoxy-coated carbon steel pipework Valves and pipe support systems Integrate vendor equipment packages into plant layouts Model access platforms, stairs, handrails, and maintenance accessways in line with client and industry standards Participate in Access, Lifting and Maintenance (ALM) reviews Coordinate with civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical disciplines to ensure clash-free models Maintain drawing registers and ensure documentation complies with company and client standards Experience / Skills / Knowledge / Qualifications: Essential: Proven experience as a Piping Designer within the Water Industry Essential: Strong Revit experience in a 3D design environment HNC in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent) Experience with wet and dry well pumping stations Experience with ductile iron and epoxy-coated carbon steel pipe systems Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Navisworks Understan
