Civil Engineer
I''m currently working with a well-established, employee-owned engineering consultancy that is looking to appoint a Civil Engineer to join its growing London team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an engineer who wants to take on greater project responsibility, work on high-profile developments, and accelerate their progression towards leading projects.
You''ll be involved in the delivery of a diverse range of projects across sectors including healthcare, education, defence, data centres, and major mixed-use developments. The role offers a strong blend of technical design, project coordination, client interaction, and mentoring responsibilities, making it ideal for someone looking to move beyond pure design work and develop their leadership capabilities.
What they''re looking for:
·Experience in civil engineering design with a strong drainage focus.
·Knowledge of Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS) and drainage network design.
·Proficiency with Civil 3D.
·Confidence liaising with local authorities, clients, and multidisciplinary design teams.
·A passion for mentoring junior engineers and supporting project delivery.
·Working towards Chartership with a recognised professional institution.
Desirable experience:
·Flood Risk Assessments.
·Highways design.
·Experience working across sectors such as healthcare, education, defence, commercial, or infrastructure projects.
