A school in the Southampton area is looking to appoint a reliable and enthusiastic Workload Teaching Assistant to support both classroom and wider school operations. The school is proud to serve a culturally rich and diverse community, where all learners.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work as part of a dynamic and committed team in a vibrant and inclusive primary school setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support teachers by preparing materials and organising classroom resources
• Maintain stock and shared resource areas to ensure smooth daily operations
• Create visually appealing and educational display boards across the school
• Assist with administrative tasks such as photocopying, laminating, and clerical duties
• Produce materials for school events and whole-school initiatives
• Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment for all children

Essential requirements:

• Experience working with children
• GCSE Grade C (or equivalent) in English and Math
• Has an up-to-date DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
• Excellent workload and organisational skills
• Artistic flair and attention to detail for classroom displays
• Is proactive, well-organised and able to use their initiative
• Relates well to children, staff, and families, showing strong interpersonal skills
