As Tangle Teezer''s People Director you will be a highly visible and influential leader, both internally and externally, championing a culture of positive employee engagement.This role works closely with the CEO in setting the cultural tone of the organisation providing expert leadership to the People function, embedding best-in-class people practices that enhance employee experience, nurture our creative talent, and future-proof our organisation for continued success.In this role you’ll be heavily involved in continuing to support this change programme with our people and the organisation. HR Business Partnering: Act as a strategic advisor to leadership, ensuring strong people advisory relationships and embedding best-in-class people practices.People Operations and HR Processes: Oversee the move from our current people processes, from payroll and benefits to employee relations and policy management.Performance and Compensation: Managing the transition from current core people programs including performance and feedback processes, compensation frameworks, and reward structures to align with BICs processes.Supporting the sunset of our HRIS (HiBob) and move to BICs HRIS (Success Factors)Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with employment laws across multiple geographies, managing risk while maintaining an agile and business-friendly HR approach.Data and People Analytics: Track and analyse key HR metrics (e.g., Learning and Development: working with the central BIC team to understand how Tangle Teezer can leverage their global management and leadership programmes.Manage and mentor the People Team, including Talent Lead, People Lead (US) Head of People Experience, People Advisor and Office and Events Manager, ensuring alignment with Tangle Teezers business objectives and culture.Proven experience in a senior HR/People role, partnering and driving discussions with senior leadershipHappy bouncing between operational and strategic work, at ease with the doing as much as the planning.Exceptional communication skills and relationship management skills.Project management skills, able to see the bigger picture and translate this into actionable tasks for your team.Experience working within a hybrid/flexible work environment, agile approach, happy operating in ambiguity.Preferably experience overseeing facilities/office management.A deep understanding of HR best practices, employment law, and compliance.A proactive, solution-oriented mindset with a passion for building a positive workplace culture.Hybrid working with a minimum of 2 days in our London office- A flexible workplace- core hours of 10am to 4pm.- Performance related bonus-25 days holiday, increasing with length of service, and the option to buy more holiday days- Enhanced Family Leave Policies- Period and Menopause Policies- Enhanced Pension scheme (5%)- Life Assurance 4 x salary- Medical Insurance with AXA- Cashback medical plan- Dog friendly office- 00 pm finish to kickstart your weekend- In office massages every fortnight- A brand new, shiny office 2 minutes from Southwark station
